Pique Macho from Bolivia

Recipe of Pique Macho


2 pounds of boneless meat
1 pound of sausage
¼ pound of bacon
3 onions
4 tomatoes
2 green peppers
2 pounds potatoes
4 Tablespoons of vinegar
1/2 teaspoon salt
spices to your taste


Cut the meat in small squares of about 1 inch each, add salt and ¼ teaspoon of white pepper. Put the meat and its spices in a skillet and fry it.  Add the sausages  cut in small thin round pieces and the bacon cut in long strips. And add the potatoes cut in long thin pieces and fry all together.

Apart prepare a salad with the onions, tomatoes and the green peppers.  Add salt and olive oil and vinegar to this salad.  Serve in the same dish the salad and the fried things, all together.
Add a glass of red wine.  And enjoy it!
